Pagani of Warsaw: The First Pagani Showroom in Poland

Warsaw, June 18, 2025 – On May 9, Pagani Automobili inaugurated its first showroom in Poland with an exclusive private event. Located on Wira?owa Street, the new space is part of the distinctive La Squadra concept developed by the Pietrzak Group. In this unique environment, collectible art meets the world’s most desirable car brands.

 

The opening of Pagani of Warsaw marks a significant milestone for the Polish ultra-luxury automotive market and a strategic expansion for Pagani Automobili. Following the brand’s entry into the market in December 2021 and the delivery of its first vehicle to a Polish client in May 2022, Pagani now solidifies its presence with a dedicated showroom in the capital.

 

The modern facility features a 100-square-meter (1,076 sq. ft.) display area centered around the new Pagani Utopia, alongside certified pre-owned Huayra and Zonda models. The dealership will also offer a full range of client-focused events and an authorized service workshop.

 

Designed by Pagani Arte, the showroom interiors recreate the refined atmosphere of the Modenese Atelier. Materials such as carbon fiber, Italian leather, and titanium—sourced directly from Pagani Hypercars—imbue the space with timeless elegance.

 

Visitors can configure their vehicles using advanced digital tools, ensuring an intuitive, immersive journey toward creating their bespoke Pagani. Throughout this process, clients are guided by a team of Polish Pagani experts, ready to unlock the full potential of each model’s customization.

Pagani of Warsaw is the sixth Pagani showroom in Europe, joining Monaco, Stuttgart, Copenhagen, Lugano, and Manchester. Xawery Wolski Exhibition: Sculpture at the Intersection of Art and Automotive Design

As part of the inauguration, guests were invited to experience an exhibition by Xawery Wolski, one of Poland’s most acclaimed sculptors. His works—crafted from terracotta, bronze, ceramics, and fiberglass—explore the themes of memory and transformation. Their poised elegance and structural strength resonate with the design philosophy behind Pagani’s most iconic creations, emphasizing timelessness over trend and human touch over automation.

 

Wolski’s art has been exhibited in over seventy shows worldwide, including the Zach?ta National Gallery of Art (Warsaw), the Museo de Arte Moderno (Mexico City), and the Liu Haisu Art Museum (Shanghai). His presence at Wirazowa21 underscores a new cultural direction for the space, which now stands at the crossroads of fine art and high-performance engineering.

Pagani Automobili at MIMO 2025: The Hypercars on display and the dynamic debut of the Huayra R Evo Roadster at Arte in Pista

San Cesario sul Panaro, June 18, 2025 – From June 27 to 29, Pagani Automobili will take part in the MIMO Milano Monza Motor Show, an open-air event with free public access hosted at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. In the paddock area, visitors will be able to admire two defining creations of the Pagani vision: the Utopia and the Huayra Codalunga. But the most anticipated moment will take place on track: for the first time at a public event, the Huayra R Evo Roadster will be unleashed as part of the exclusive Arte in Pista program.

 

Utopia

The Utopia marks the beginning of the third chapter in the Pagani story. Limited to just 99 units, it blends the seductive curves of the 1950s and ’60s with a truly contemporary vision. The result is a timeless design, unmistakably Pagani in every detail. Pure. Essential. Built around the joy of driving. The seven-speed manual gearbox, the fully analog instrumentation, and the naturally aspirated Pagani V12 – developed by Mercedes-AMG to Pagani’s specifications – are all deliberate choices. They go against the grain, in the name of lightness and an unfiltered connection between driver and machine.

Huayra Codalunga

The Huayra Codalunga is one of the rarest cars ever created by Pagani. Developed by the Grandi Complicazioni division, only five examples exist. Its elongated silhouette evokes the spirit of 1960s endurance racers. Pure surfaces, matte finishes, and understated tones define the aesthetic. Inside, every element speaks of sincere craftsmanship: aged leather, bespoke weaves, and suede textures—a tribute to Italian coachbuilders and the value of time.

Grandi Complicazioni is Pagani’s division for its most exclusive, sophisticated, and personal creations. Each project is entirely bespoke, often limited to just a few pieces, sometimes a single one. Arte in Pista & Huayra R Evo Roadster

Launched in 2021 alongside the debut of the Huayra R, Arte in Pista is a program designed for owners of Pagani track Hypercars who want to explore the full potential of their machines. It’s a private, exclusive experience hosted at some of the world’s most prestigious circuits. Supporting them is a dedicated technical team: engineers, mechanics, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and professional drivers. This is not a race. It’s a journey of personal and technical growth. The motto is simple: “Do your best. Then do better than your best.” Access is reserved for owners of the Zonda R, Zonda Revolución, Huayra R, and Huayra R Evo Roadster. At MIMO, the latter will make its first-ever public dynamic appearance.

The Huayra R Evo Roadster is the latest evolution of Pagani’s track-focused lineage. Inspired by the legendary Le Mans racers of the 1960s and ’70s – especially the iconic “long-tail” models – this open-top Hypercar pays homage to drivers of the past, exposed to the elements in pursuit of glory. Its V12-R Evo engine, developed in collaboration with HWA AG, represents the pinnacle of race-derived technology. Every component has been engineered to push limits: more power, sharper braking, enhanced stability. Derived from the coupé version, it retains the same lightness and technical rigor, while introducing the visual elegance of a design conceived for driving en plein air. The carbon fiber roof blends seamlessly into the car’s silhouette without interrupting its lines. Only 130 units will be built—each one different, each one handmade.

On Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8, the Huayra Codalunga will be on display in Piazza Calcagnini in Formigine. One of the rarest Pagani models ever built, the Codalunga was developed by the Grandi Complicazioni division and produced in only five units. Its elongated lines evoke 1960s race cars. Surfaces are pure, finishes matte, and tones understated. Inside, aged leathers, bespoke weaves, and suede-like materials pay tribute to Italian coachbuilders and the value of time.

Motor Valley Fest Opening Conference

On Thursday, June 5, from 9:00 to 13:00 at the Teatro Storchi in Modena, Horacio Pagani will join the opening conference. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will follow at 13:00 in Piazza Roma, at the heart of the “Best of Motor Valley” Village.

The future of the automotive supply chain: risks and opportunities

Later that day, at 14:30 in the Sala del Leccio (Complesso San Paolo), Francesco Perini, Head of the Technical Department at Pagani, will speak during a roundtable focused on the challenges and outlook of the automotive supply chain.

Luxury experiences: beyond the product, into the brand

Motor1 Talk – The C10 Project

Pagani Automobili returns to the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este and FuoriConcorso

San Cesario sul Panaro, May 14, 2025 – From May 23 to 25, Pagani will once again be on the shores of Lake Como, where automobiles and history meet to celebrate beauty and vision. Following the Huayra Codalunga’s win in 2023, the Modenese marque returns to the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2025 with the Huayra Epitome, competing in the “Concept Cars & Prototypes” category. The car will be on display to the public on Sunday, May 25, during the Public Day – Il Festival at Villa Erba.

A short distance away, at Villa del Grumello, FuoriConcorso guests will have the chance to admire the Pagani Imola, exhibited in the park among other unconventional automotive creations. Two Hypercars. Two visions. One shared origin: the Grandi Complicazioni division.

 

Huayra Epitome – Unique, literally

A one-off creation, built for a client who envisioned something never seen before. It is the first Huayra equipped with a manual transmission. A call to purer, more mechanical, more visceral driving.

The engine is the Pagani V12: 864 HP at 6,000 rpm (854 bhp), 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft). Its sound is deep, full, and dynamic. It can be modulated via a button on the center console, which opens the exhaust valves and completely changes its voice.

The design follows function: custom front and rear bumpers, exclusive light clusters, a redesigned rear hood with enlarged air ducts and integrated wing. A project born from a personal request, shaped step by step together, like a tailored suit.

Pagani Imola – A powerhouse of technology for the racetrack and road

A rolling laboratory. Created to develop, experiment with, and test the technologies that would inspire future Pagani models. Built in just five examples, the Imola is an extreme synthesis of power, control, and technical research.

It is the result of over 16,000 km (9,942 miles) of high-speed track testing. The engine is a Mercedes-AMG V12 delivering 827 HP (816 bhp) and 1,100 Nm of torque (811 lb-ft). Dry weight: just 1,246 kg (2,748 lb), thanks to a composite chassis and the ultralight Acquarello Light paint, which alone reduces weight by 5 kg (11 lb).

The active aerodynamic system adjusts in real time to cornering, braking, and acceleration. Four movable flaps regulate stability in every condition. Every surface serves a purpose. Every decision was tested on the most unforgiving proving ground: the racetrack.

Grandi Complicazioni – Pagani’s division for special projects

The Utopia Roadster

The Utopia Roadster represents the pinnacle of a continuous quest that merges sophisticated technology with timeless design. Lightweight, dynamic, and high-performing, it is designed in continuity with the Coupé version while introducing distinctive elements. Featuring a seamlessly integrated hard-top, it offers the flexibility of an open or closed driving experience, while maintaining the same weight as its counterpart. This vehicle celebrates the timeless allure of mechanical purity, from the Pagani V12 engine, devoid of hybrid support, to avant-garde design elements such as the gearbox and pedal system, where every mechanism is visible and meticulously crafted.

It embodies Pagani’s most advanced technology, resulting from sophisticated aerodynamic studies and the integration of over forty composite material formulas. The Utopia Roadster brings innovative technologies to the road, such as the Pirelli Cyber™ Tyre sensor system, which allows the tires to communicate with the vehicle, improving its safety. A one-off Zonda Rinascimento at the Motor1 Stand

On display at the Motor1 stand will be the only Zonda C12 S 7.0 featuring a special removable glass roof. This unique model is distinguished by Montecarlo Gray exterior paint, Grey tartan fabric interior, Silver wheels, and left-hand drive. It has undergone restoration through the Pagani Rinascimento program, designed to preserve Pagani Hypercars over time and rejuvenate them to their original glory. Thanks to the expertise of the master craftsmen at the Pagani Atelier, every detail is meticulously handled, using original designs and materials. The restoration process is comprehensive, involving mechanical components, systems, interiors, and all wear-prone parts, reviving both the aesthetics and functionality of the vehicle to make it feel brand new.

Pagani will showcase four Hypercars, three of which hold records on prestigious international tracks.

 

Two Record-Setting Zondas on Static Display

Among the highlights of the event are a Zonda S and a Zonda F, both of which have set lap records at the famed Nürburgring track.

The Zonda S, with its Monte Carlo Grey livery and Cognac leather and nubuck interior, is part of Pagani Automobili’s collection. In 2002, it clocked a lap time of 7’44”, setting a new production car record on the Nordschleife, the classic configuration of the Nürburgring circuit. This model represents a significant evolution over its predecessor in every aspect: more powerful, more efficient, and more precise. While it exudes an aggressive and imposing presence, it is when the engine roars to life that its ferocity truly comes to the fore. The naturally aspirated Mercedes-AMG V12 engine growls with power outside, yet inside the cabin, it remains surprisingly quiet. Once behind the wheel, the Zonda S offers an unexpected level of comfort for a Hypercar of its era.

Also on display will be the Zonda F Coupé, which in 2007 shattered the Nürburgring production car lap record with a remarkable time of 7’27”82. The ‘F’ in its name pays homage to Juan Manuel Fangio, one of the most celebrated and beloved Formula 1 drivers in history, and a mentor to Horacio Pagani. This vehicle features a two-tone exterior with light grey and exposed carbon finishes, complemented by a meticulously crafted red leather interior. The interior details reflect Pagani’s commitment to excellence, evident in the Nardi steering wheel, wooden accents, and a dashboard inspired by the craftsmanship of traditional watchmakers. Weighing in at just 1,230 kg (2,718 lb), the Zonda F’s weight is kept to a minimum through the use of titanium, aluminum, and Inconel components.

 

A Pagani Utopia on Display

Completing the display is the Utopia, a Hypercar that marks the beginning of the third chapter in Pagani Automobili’s history. Its flowing lines, inspired by the 1950s and 60s, exude a timeless elegance while maintaining an unmistakably Pagani character. Signature features such as the iconic four exhausts and a carbon fiber monocoque are now enhanced with even more advanced materials like Carbo-Titanium HP62-G2 and Carbo-Triax HP62, making it more resistant and lighter than ever. The car’s design achieves exceptional aerodynamic efficiency without the need for external appendages.

Handling and stability are maximized through aerodynamic studies and sophisticated technologies, including active aerodynamics, electronically controlled dampers, and double-wishbone suspension made from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy. The Utopia boldly embraces analog instrumentation and offers a seven-speed manual transmission option. The pursuit of lightness is also reflected in the Pagani V12 twin-turbo engine, devoid of hybrid supports and heavy batteries, crafted by AMG to Pagani’s specifications. The production of the Utopia Coupé is limited to just ninety-nine units.

 

A Huayra Roadster BC Takes to the Track

During the event, a Huayra Roadster BC will take to the track, continuing the legacy of record-breaking established by the Zonda. On September 4th, 2020, this Hypercar set a new world record for road-legal cars with a lap time of 2’23”081 at Spa Francorchamps. From the outset, Horacio Pagani and his team knew that the development of the Huayra Roadster BC would be an immense challenge. The goal was to create a car that would lay the foundation for the next generation of Pagani Hypercars. Everything has evolved: a refined Pagani V12 engine, new aerodynamic and technological advancements, and the introduction of advanced composite materials, including Carbo-Titanium HP62 G2 and Carbo-Triax HP62, which contribute to an even more rigid monocoque. Courage, boldness, and discipline were key, as four years of development and thousands of hours of testing culminated in the Huayra Roadster BC—a Hypercar in which every component, even the most hidden, has been meticulously designed with an acute sense of aesthetic and technological refinement. The Huayra Roadster BC project won the XXVII edition of the Compasso d’Oro award established by ADI – Associazione per il Disegno Industriale – in the “Design for Mobility” category.

The first public display of the Utopia Roadster

On August 16th, Pagani will showcase a selection of its Hypercars at “The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering”, an outstanding and exclusive experience for motorsport enthusiasts and collectors. This event, held annually on the lawns of the Quail Lodge & Golf Club, has brought together enthusiasts and connoisseurs worldwide for over twenty years, presenting a collection of cars of remarkable rarity and exceptional value.

At “The Quail”, the Utopia Roadster – the latest creation from the San Cesario Atelier – will be revealed to the public for the first time. This Hypercar represents the pinnacle of a continuous quest that merges sophisticated technology with timeless design. Lightweight, dynamic, and high-performing, it is designed in continuity with the Coupé version while introducing distinctive elements. Featuring a seamlessly integrated hard-top, it offers the flexibility of an open or closed driving experience, while maintaining the same weight as its counterpart. This vehicle celebrates the timeless allure of mechanical purity, from the Pagani V12 engine, devoid of hybrid support, to avant-garde design elements such as the gearbox and pedal system, where every mechanism is visible and meticulously crafted. It embodies Pagani’s most advanced technology, resulting from sophisticated aerodynamic studies and the integration of over forty composite material formulas. The Utopia Roadster brings innovative technologies to the road, such as the Pirelli Cyber™ Tyre sensor system, which allows the tires to communicate with the vehicle improving its safety. Each of the 130 Utopia Roadsters will be unique, thanks to the extensive range of available customizations, allowing each Hypercar to tell the story of its owner.

 

The showcased Hypercars and the Pagani stand’s new features

Pagani’s exhibition area will feature a selection of Pagani Roadsters, showcasing the brand’s evolution, including the Zonda Arrivederci, the Huayra Roadster, the Huayra Roadster BC and the Imola Roadster. Horacio Pagani, Founder and Chief Designer of Pagani Automobili, will also attend the event, available to meet with customers and enthusiasts.

The Zonda chassis number 140, the final original example of a road-going Zonda aptly named “Arrivederci”, will be revealed to the public for the first time. Arrivederci – which means “farewell” in Italian – celebrates the culmination of an era. This unique open-top Hypercar features an ultra-deep Blu Danubio livery, hand-painted over a bespoke body made from Alutex, a composite material used exclusively by Pagani for this car. Blue and red stripes enrich the exterior configuration, emphasizing the main lines of the bodywork. The interior is saddled with candy red leather, the same as the Huayra “La Monza Lisa”, which shares the same owner. The accompanying luggage set is also finished in this fine leather. The Zonda Arrivederci is further distinguished by a set of custom-designed rims inspired by those from the Zonda S.

The Huayra Roadster is a car on which every mechanical component is proudly displayed, celebrating the attention to every single detail. «Everything had to be unique, like a car carved from a block of Carrara marble». This is how Horacio Pagani describes this model, an open-air homage to the God of Wind. The entire project holds a special place in the hearts of the entire Pagani team, as it represents the first instance of a roadster being lighter than its coupé counterpart. An achievement that took nearly six years of development, thanks to a complete redesign of all components and the creation of new advanced composite materials, such as Carbo-Triax HP52 combined with Carbo-Titanium.

The Huayra Roadster BC was the result of one of the most challenging projects ever undertaken by Horacio Pagani and his team. It was designed to lay the groundwork for the future generation of Pagani Hypercars. Everything evolved: a revamped Pagani V12, new aerodynamic and technological advancements, and the debut of advanced composite materials such as the Carbo-Titanium HP62 G2 and the Carbo-Triax HP62, which allowed the vehicle to achieve an even stiffer monocoque. Four years of design and thousands of hours of testing. Thus, the Huayra Roadster BC was born, a Hypercar in which every component, even the hidden ones, was studied with meticulousness and critical sense to reach the pinnacle of aesthetic and technological refinement. The Huayra Roadster BC project won the XXVII edition of the Compasso d’Oro award established by ADI – Associazione per il Disegno Industriale – in the “Design for Mobility” category. The Hypercar also holds the record for road-legal cars worldwide at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, with a time of 2:23.081, set in September 2020.

The Imola Roadster, produced in only eight units, is an open-top car with a distinctive character, designed to deliver sensational performance both on the track and on the road. Homologated for street driving worldwide, it represents the pinnacle of Pagani Automobili’s technology. The Imola Roadster is the result of sophisticated aerodynamic research, which has optimized airflow and body shapes to increase downforce in all driving conditions. The further evolved Pagani V12 engine delivers 850 hp (625 kW) at 5,600 rpm and 1,100 Nm of torque between 3,600 and 5,600 rpm. Weighing only 1,260 kg (2,778 lbs), this Hypercar embodies Pagani’s passion, elegance, and dedication to innovation.

At the Pagani stand, it will be possible to discover the newest additions to the Pagani Store. In an exclusive preview, the capsule collection Utopia Roadster by La Martina will be presented, consisting of apparel and accessories specifically designed to celebrate the launch of the new Pagani Hypercar, thus strengthening the collaboration with the brand. In addition, it will be possible to admire and purchase a new exclusive line of fine leather goods, characterized by the use of extraordinarily fine materials, meticulous attention to detail, and the possibility of extreme customization – including the creation of unique pieces – just like the Pagani Hypercars.

The Roadster as a response to the car enthusiast’s dilemma

Two years ago, Pagani Automobili unveiled the Utopia, a car whose very name embodies the philosophy of a relentless pursuit towards perfection, an unattainable ideal that nonetheless inspires creators to aspire to excellence. Project C10, Utopia’s code name, came into being with the dual nature of Roadster and Coupé already written in its destiny, following the enthusiasm generated by previous models. However, unlike the roadster versions of the Zonda and Huayra – which were designed after their respective closed versions – here the development of the two variants took place jointly.

What better way to solve the enthusiasts’ old dilemma? Gran Turismo aficionados have always debated as to which is the purer expression: a closed or open cabin. Both traditions boast a rich pedigree and supporters of the two contrasting options are often irreconcilable. The only way for Pagani to help resolve this quandary was to offer both versions, leaving fans free to choose between them. Invariably, those who favor performance opt for coupés, since they tend to be lighter and more agile. But the criterion does not apply here, as the Utopia Roadster is just as light, dynamic, and high-performance as its closed sister.

The styling of the two versions is an expression of continuity, being the work of the same team of designers and engineers; a team united by common visions, working under the guidance of Horacio Pagani in the Modenese Atelier. The doors have the same elegant butterfly kinematics, a fascinating and sophisticated mechanism. When one wishes to travel under the open sky, the hard-top can be placed on a stand, transforming it into a piece of design to be looked at and admired. In addition to this, there is a soft-top, which can be stored in a suitcase in place of the vanity case that is usually located centrally behind the two seats. The same car can therefore convert into three different versions, each to be preferred depending on the season, the mood, the desire to feel enclosed and protected or in contact with the open air, and the wind gently caressing the face.

On board the Utopia Roadster, the floor mats have a specific texture reminiscent of an outboard boat, and the key has been redesigned, recalling the profile of the open version. Even with the hard-top in place, the light-filled interior differs significantly compared to the Coupé, thanks to the presence of a single large roof window. Removing the hard-top brings the driver and passenger closer to nature, such that they experience the surrounding landscape in a unique way, perceiving smells and subtle changes in air temperature as the road winds up and downhill.

As for the upholstery in the Utopia Roadster, the almost endless choice of colors and materials becomes even more important, since the car’s interior is constantly exposed to the gaze of onlookers. It is from this cabin that you see the world, and it is in this cabin that the world sees you.

The style of an object is distinguished partly by the accessories that complement it, and the luggage items are one of the features that further embellish every Pagani Hypercar. For the Utopia, two matching suitcases are made with leather-covered carbon inner shells, adorned with the emblematic Pagani ellipse. These can be stowed in two special compartments situated next to the engine. They are true gems of high-quality workmanship, where meticulous care has been devoted to every detail: from the selection of the leathers, which can either be coordinated with the car’s con?guration or create a contrast to it, down to the smallest details such as the hinges, the small leather straps that muffle their noise and the feet pads incorporating the iconic four exhaust symbol. The range of accessories is further enriched by two matching garment bags, which in the Utopia are neatly positioned behind the headrests.

 

The Roadster underscores the high-tech performance of the Utopia

Horacio Pagani is a pioneer of advanced composite materials; for almost forty years he has been experimenting with the most innovative solutions for his products. The first creation of the Pagani Atelier, the Zonda, was one of the first road cars to use a monocoque in carbon fiber, a material at the time mainly reserved for the aerospace industry, Formula 1, and Sport Prototype endurance cars. Today, thanks to continual investment in research, Pagani Automobili has developed know-how that has culminated in the Utopia Roadster. Current advances go well beyond the use of carbon fiber alone; in fact, there are over forty formulas of composite materials within the same Hypercar. These include Carbo-Titanium HP62-G2 and Carbo-Triax HP62.

Technological sophistication has enabled the Utopia Roadster to maintain the same lightness as the Coupé, weighing in at only 1,280 kg (2,822 lb) [dry weight], an incredible figure for a large Hypercar fitted with a V12 engine. This result was achieved thanks to a monocoque chassis entirely redesigned to optimize rigidity and resistance, without resorting to the heavy reinforcements usually required when a car roof is eliminated.

Key objectives in the design of the Utopia were to achieve a low coefficient of aerodynamic resistance and significant aerodynamic downforce without resorting to protruding appendages. With this in mind, Pagani’s engineers conducted a meticulous study of air flows in the wind tunnel. Air is carefully guided and controlled through the wheel passages, channeled around the teardrop roof and along the sinuous sides. It flows around the wing mirrors, over the bonnet, and down to the elliptical trailing edge, where two movable flaps, visible and yet harmoniously incorporated into the design, help to further improve aerodynamic efficiency by adapting to different driving conditions. The internal air flows for cooling and intake have also been perfected down to the last detail, making an essential contribution to the car’s performance and stability.

From the very outset, Pagani Automobili has maintained its loyalty to the V12 engine and to its collaboration with Mercedes-AMG, initiated thanks to Juan Manuel Fangio, world champion with the German manufacturer and supporter of Horacio Pagani’s pragmatic vision. This continuity has not stood in the way of progress: the team worked intensively on the version of the Pagani V12 destined for the Utopia. It is an authentic marvel of mechanics, light and compact, built in close collaboration with AMG engineers, who are in charge of its exclusive production for the Italian Hypercar. Each engine is entirely assembled by a single craftsman, a true mechanical artist. The power output of 864 horsepower (635 kW), comparable to that of many racing engines, does not do full justice to the incredible versatility of this mechanical system: capable of turning smoothly at low revs and delivering explosive acceleration when the driver wants to experience the full power of the Pagani engine. Turbo response is immediate, thanks partly to the prodigious torque of 1,100 Nm delivered extraordinarily. No heavy batteries, no hybrid system, just the wonderful roar of a V12 engine.

In collaboration with the British specialist firm Xtrac, Pagani has designed a transmission capable of handling the torque of the twin-turbo V12, while guaranteeing smooth and agreeable functioning in all conditions. Extremely compact and positioned transversely behind the engine, the seven-speed manual gearbox is connected to a light and adjustable triple-disc clutch.

The cutting-edge technology employed in the fabrication of materials for the Utopia Roadster is not just about carbon: even the metal parts are incredibly sophisticated. The eight suspension triangles, forged in aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, are designed to guarantee both strength and lightness. The recent rebirth of Modena Design, a historic Pagani-owned company, today allows total control over every aspect of the production of components in aluminum, titanium, and special metals, from design to engineering, to manufacture with the most advanced equipment currently available, which also involves using the noble technique of milling from solid metal.

The Utopia Roadster boasts extraordinary agility and exceptional road holding during cornering, guaranteeing an unrivaled driving sensation in all conditions. The active suspension, combined with the electronic differential and dynamic control system, eliminates any tendency to understeer, while the electronic traction control ensures flawless movement despite the enormous power supply available. The Utopia Roadster delivers astonishing performance while remaining persistently intuitive. True to Pagani’s philosophy, the driver never has to struggle with the car; it is always an exhilarating, obedient, and reassuring ally.

Pirelli, an essential partner of Pagani Automobili from the prototyping and simulation phase with the aid of the most advanced AI technology, is supplying the Utopia Roadster with exclusive tires equipped with advanced sensor technology on the inside of the tread that become points of interaction between the car and the road surface. Thanks to the Pirelli Cyber™ Tyre, the tire’s sensors will send information to the vehicle’s stability control systems, including ABS, ESP, and traction control, to ensure maximum performance and the highest level of safety based on driving conditions. The Pirelli P ZERO™ Corsa and P ZERO™ Winter (standard) and the P ZERO™ Trofeo RS (optional), are fitments developed specifically for the Pagani Utopia, in size 21” at the front and 22” at the rear.

 

Every detail is an aesthetic and technical challenge

Inspired by the visionary genius of Leonardo da Vinci, who saw the union of Art and Science as the highest expression of human creativity, work at Pagani Automobili is tirelessly geared to ensure that design, engineering, and product manufacture are developed in an integrated process, meticulous attention being paid to every aspect of form and function. Ergonomics is studied down to the smallest detail: every control is positioned exactly where you would expect it to be, is designed to be operated comfortably, and is fashioned with taste and attention to its mechanical beauty. Even a simple switch, carefully designed in its form, its lighting, and the precision of its actuation, is as pleasant to look at as it is efficient to use. Every single element contributes to an overall sense of visual and tactile satisfaction, enhancing every gesture and making a drive in the Utopia Roadster a unique and inimitable experience.

The Utopia’s seven-speed manual gearbox is a marvel of ultra-modern design, yet retains traditional mechanics and is operated by a classical gear lever with a titanium grille. An object of sophisticated workmanship that is as enchanting to the eye as it is enjoyable to the touch. Each and every part of the clearly visible mechanism is finished with the greatest care and attention, the polished knob itself providing an ideal grip. For those who prefer lightning-fast changes, there is the AMT automated gearbox controlled via paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel. Software strategies have further improved speed and comfort so that the driver feels as comfortable on the road as he does on the racetrack. Pagani Automobili has always been dedicated to the pursuit of timeless design, celebrating the elegance of manual control as the purest expression of mechanical art. From the time of its earliest creations, it has embraced the enduring appeal of analog technology, enhancing the beauty and functionality of knobs, dial hands, buttons, and levers. The development of sophisticated components, such as a manual gearbox capable of meeting the high expectations of Pagani’s customers, today represents an even more formidable technological challenge than in the past.

The steering wheel is the very symbol of a car; that of the Utopia is a symbol of Pagani’s savoir-faire. No one had ever designed a steering wheel quite like this. In appearance it looks almost ordinary: one immediately notices, however, the excellent grip of the thick rim, finished with leather pads. But it is in the detail that its uniqueness is revealed: a closer look shows that the rim, spokes, and hub are a single piece of lightweight metal. Starting from a 43-kilo (94,80 lb) block, a five-axis milling machine works continuously for 28 hours to achieve this extraordinary object weighing only 1.6 kg (3.53 lb), the discarded waste being reused as recycled material for other industries. An expert craftsman hand-finishes, personally polishes, and carefully inspects each steering wheel. The result is an extraordinary feat of aesthetics and engineering.

 

A philosophy of driving pleasure

The feeling inside the Utopia Roadster is absolutely unique, even in the very special context of high-performance cars. When climbing aboard, one may be almost intimidated by the numerous “old-fashioned” features. But in actual fact this is where the pleasure really begins. Any trepidation simply vanishes as soon as you experience the naturalness of the drive itself. You glance at the details, you admire the gear lever, a magnificent piece of mechanical artistry, but above all you appreciate how perfectly it fits into the palm of your hand, becoming familiar after the first few gear shifts. This applies to all parts, which at first sight may appear extravagant, yet are designed with a constant focus on efficiency and transparency. The Utopia does not oblige drivers to adapt their gestures, it prolongs them. Already at low speeds, during the first few kilometers, and even more so when the full potential of the Pagani V12 is unleashed, the car responds impeccably. The acceleration, punctuated by the gear changes, is pure pleasure. The gear lever communicates every movement of the mechanism, which is flexible and extremely rapid, yet clearly perceptible to those who love mechanics. In addition to the sensation of almost unlimited power, the driver’s senses, heightened by the performance, communicate with the twin-turbo V12, perceiving its every pulse. Shifting gears exactly when desired restores sensuality to the driving. Whether you let the car cruise in sixth or seventh gear at low revs or push each gear to its limit, the transmission responds immediately to the engine’s commands.

We know from the technical specifications that advanced technology translates into performance, but the precise measure of efficiency is also pleasure. The carbo-titanium monocoque frame gives the car an exceptional ratio of lightness to structural rigidity, which improves performance, efficiency and reduces emissions. But above all, it provides an outstanding driving experience. This rigidity creates a connection between the driver and the road, giving the impression that the hand on the steering wheel touches the asphalt directly, perceiving its variations in texture and grip. The lightness allows immediate reactions, and instant liveliness on ignition without having to overstrain the engine. It also translates into agility when cornering: the car turns flat, without inertia or drift, surging into the straight again with perfect precision. Even when braking, the immediate response to every foot command makes the experience of deceleration a pleasure on par with acceleration. The driver commands and the car obeys instantly, as if it understands and even shares the pleasure of playing with the road.

The analog instrumentation of the Utopia Roadster restores a way of relating to the driver that was all too quickly abandoned with the advent of digital displays, harking back to the handcrafted inspiration of haute horlogerie. The large speedometer and tachometer, which reveal some of their inner workings, offer a direct connection with the road and the engine. The simple movement of the hands is equally informative and far more intuitive than the reading of numbers. Likewise, the central cluster of four dials allows essential information such as oil pressure and temperatures to be read almost from the corner of the eye, thanks to the position of the hands. In front of the driver, a simple display enables the management of those aspects for which a screen is needed, such as infotainment, color therapy, satellite navigation, or backup camera.

 

The ambitions of the Utopia Roadster

One hundred and thirty examples of the Roadster will be produced, destined for customers worldwide, with a starting price of 3.1 million euros exclusive of local taxes.

Pagani has entrusted the Utopia with the task of reconnecting with the past, of recovering the simplicity that is often sacrificed in the name of pure performance. The designer subtly drew inspiration from both automotive and non-automotive forms, such as the delicate profiling of Vespa headlights and accessories, the styling of Italian Bianchi bicycles of the 1950s, and the curves of Riva speedboats. It is the bond of deep mutual esteem and friendship between Horacio Pagani and Carlo Riva that suggested the romantic lines of the Utopia, an admiration that was born in humanity and is reflected in creativity. GLOBAL UNVEILING OF THE NEW PAGANI UTOPIA ROADSTER

 

The unveiling: why California?

From 9 to 18 August, Monterey will become the automotive capital of California, one of the American states with the strictest safety and emissions standards. Pagani Automobili has chosen this location to present the new Utopia Roadster to the public, demonstrating its commitment to comply with international homologation criteria, so that its Hypercars can be driven by customers all over the world. The Utopia and the Pagani V12, a pure internal combustion engine with no hybrid support, obtained full approval quickly and without exemptions, a rare achievement for limited-production cars. This achievement testifies to almost thirty years of investment in research, aimed at developing solid and reliable knowhow. Although very low-volume manufacturers are granted several exemptions, Pagani built the Utopia to comply with the strictest regulations in the world, passing more than 50 crash tests, from preliminary to homologation, to obtain global certification.

 

The Utopia Roadster presentation model and the Sport Pack

For the unveiling, the Utopia Roadster will be presented in an exposed carbon finish in Habanero Red. This color transforms from a brownish red in the shade to a vivid bright red in the sunlight, setting off the unmistakable texture of the carbon fiber body.

The interior, finished in Grecale and Huayra Signature leather, features a semi-matt anodized finish with fine workmanship on the dashboard, central tunnel, air vents, and aluminum parts of the gear lever. The exterior paint color is also found inside, on the central tunnel, the seat adjustment cover, and the carbon-fiber gearstick knob.

For the unveiling, the Utopia Roadster will be fitted with the Sport Pack, an optional package also available for the Coupé version. This finish enhances the car’s sporty character and performance with a series of exclusive components.

The seats have a Carbo-Titanium structure, ergonomic padding reduced to the bare essentials and leather lightened by 20 percent, ensuring maximum support and enhancing the driving experience. The exhaust system, made entirely of titanium with exposed welded flanges, is designed with the iconic four exhaust rings and ceramic coating to optimize heat dissipation even in the most extreme track sessions, amplifying the auditory experience. The wheels are fitted with Aeroblade carbon deflectors that act like turbines, extracting hot air from the wheel arches and helping to cool the brakes. These elements, positioned along the edge of the rim, also create a trompe-l’oeil effect recalling the high-shouldered tires of the ‘60s and ‘70s models, from which the Utopia clearly draws inspiration aesthetically. As with all cars at their unveiling, the left and right sides will be configured differently: new Roadster wheels in brushed silver on the driver’s side and new Aeroblade Pearl Beige diamond-cut wheels on the passenger side. Pirelli P Zero™ Trofeo RS tyres will complete the outfitting. The Sport Pack also envisages the use of Carbo-Titanium in other parts of the car: in the interior, for the gear shift paddles, gear-lever knob, and floor mats; on the outside, for the movable flaps and roof of the monocoque. Given the complexity of working with this material, all Carbo-Titanium components are made by Pagani Atelier craftsmen.

It is an extraordinary demonstration of Pagani’s commitment to taking Hypercars to new levels of prestige, innovation, and customization. This one-off represents the pinnacle of Pagani’s current technology available for road-legal cars, in a bespoke vehicle tailored down to the smallest detail.

 

The project synthesizes the highest level of creative collaboration with the client.

«The client came to us with clear ideas: he wanted to create a unique example that would take the Huayra to its highest expression. Its name could only be ‘Epitome’, as the most essential embodiment of a concept, an idea, a value. He dreamed of a car with an exclusive design that would further elevate the Huayra’s performance while maintaining its innate elegance. The creation of every Grandi Complicazioni Hypercar requires close collaboration with the customers, who become the co-creators of the object they dream of. In the initial meetings, the client shared his vision with Horacio Pagani and the team, starting a journey of listening and sharing ideas in perfect harmony to transform thoughts into concrete forms. This phase lasted nine months and led to a final conceptualization, followed by ten months of design work by an expert, multidisciplinary team. The Huayra that synthesizes the highest Pagani technology.

The beating heart of the new Huayra Epitome is the Pagani V12 engine, capable of delivering 864 HP (635 kW) at 6,000 rpm at 18°C (64°F), with a torque of 1,100 Nm. Built by AMG according to Pagani specifications, this 5,980 cc twin turbocharger engine features a distribution system that extends the limiter to 6,700 rpm, offering an exhilarating and dynamic performance. To date, the Epitome is the first and only Huayra equipped with a manual transmission, for a pure mechanical driving experience. Thanks to an electronically controlled differential and a racing-style tri-pod driveshaft, the Pagani by Xtrac seven-speed transverse gearbox allows all the power and exceptional responsiveness of the engine to be transferred to the road. The flywheel-clutch unit consists of the latest triple-disc clutch for better torque transmission, with an electronically managed differential and a racing-derived tripod joint system ensuring greater engine responsiveness. Technological research also focused on the suspension, with geometry that reduces dive in acceleration, pitch in braking, and roll in corners. This allows the driver to tackle corners by braking at the last moment, improving vehicle control and safety. Pagani Automobili aims to emphasize driving comfort as one of the most important pursuits in the study and evolution of all its cars, including track cars. Thanks to the new active suspension system of the Huayra Epitome, a “super soft” button is located in the cabin on the central tunnel, to be activated when driving on rough roads for extra comfort. Above 150 km/h (93 mph), the shock absorber setting returns to its normal condition, depending on the driving mode selected.

The lightweight six-way titanium exhaust system creates a sound symphony that accompanies every acceleration, becoming even more captivating when the four-exhaust button located on the central tunnel is pressed. The two additional round-section direct outlets are designed to exploit the blown diffuser principle and generate additional downforce. The forged aluminum alloy monolithic wheels of the Huayra Epitome represent the pinnacle of Pagani’s technical knowledge to achieve optimal performance and safety. Designed with an exclusive style inspired by the Imola Coupé from the client’s private collection, they feature seven spokes at the front and nine spokes at the rear, with a larger front size than the Huayra Coupé, maintaining the iconic style of the Roadster but with a focus on lightness for track use. Paired with Pirelli P Zero™ Trofeo R tires, they ensure extraordinary grip, completing the performance package of this unique car.

 

Pure and elegant lines designed to cut through the air like a sharp blade.

A clean and elegant design defines the Huayra Epitome, standing out with custom-made elements to meet the demands of tailoring that mark Grandi Complicazioni projects. The all-new front and rear bumper shapes, the front hood with exclusive light clusters and a new wheel arch air extraction system, and the rear hood with oversized side conveyors and integrated wing are just some of the features that make this one-off a timeless piece of design and engineering. The front end features a new bumper with an integrated splitter, designed at the customer’s request to increase downforce and balance the car in all driving conditions, accelerating airflow to the inner radiator ducts. The wider mouth allows more airflow to the new inner ducts, optimizing aerodynamics and improving the efficiency of the front radiators. The light units are also exclusive: the Huayra Epitome is the only Pagani one-off to feature four light units installed on the front hood and two DRL elements installed on the bumper, a choice that ensures the exclusivity of the car while enhancing the purity of forms and improving lighting efficiency. The rear has been completely redesigned following the requests from the client, who wanted a hood with an integrated wing, a synthesis of Art and Science: a design that not only improves performance but also elevates aesthetics while maintaining the distinctive elegance of the Huayra. The wing supports organically develop from the side muscles of the hood, creating a unique sculptural element. Thus, all forms give continuity to the car’s lines, as if sculpted by the wind. The new aerodynamic profile of the wing, designed according to the Huayra R’s studies, aims to optimally balance the car in any driving condition. A new aerodynamic cover for the rear lights has also been designed to reduce airflow resistance, extending the laminar boundary layer over the hood and giving an aggressive and unique look to the car’s rear.

Pagani will participate with six Hypercars, making it the richest display in the history of its presence at the event.

 

On display at the Pagani stand will be two creations from the Grandi Complicazioni division: the Imola Roadster and the Huayra Epitome.

On Thursday, July 11th, at 11:50 AM local time, the official unveiling of the few-off Imola Roadster and the one-off Huayra Epitome will take place at the Pagani stand, with the participation of the Duke of Richmond.

The Imola Roadster, produced in only eight specimens, is an open-top car with distinctive flair, designed to deliver sensational performance both on the track and on the road. Road-legal for worldwide driving, it embodies the pinnacle of Pagani Automobili’s technology. The Imola Roadster results from sophisticated aerodynamic studies, which optimized air flows and body shapes to increase downforce in all driving conditions. The further evolved Pagani V12 engine delivers 850 hp at 5,600 rpm and 1,100 Nm of torque between 3,600 and 5,600 rpm. Weighing only 1,260 kg (2,778 lbs), this Hypercar embodies Pagani’s passion, elegance, and commitment to innovation.

The Huayra Epitome is a unique specimen that attests to Pagani Automobili’s commitment to taking Hypercars to new levels of prestige, innovation, and customization. Its design is focused on cleanliness and elegance thanks to a series of details created specifically to meet the sartorial demands customers address to the Grandi Complicazioni division. The novel shapes of the front and rear bumpers, the front hood with exclusive light clusters, and a new wheel arch air extraction system, along with the rear hood featuring enlarged lateral ducts and an integrated spoiler, are just some of the features that make this one-off piece a timeless example of design and engineering. The Goodwood 2024 Utopia will display an exclusive livery created by Horacio Pagani with the collaboration of the Duke of Richmond to celebrate the event. The Utopia is the car that opened the third act in the history of Pagani Automobili. Limited to ninety-nine units, it is a Hypercar with sinuous lines that transcend time, in which inspiration from the 1950s and 1960s blends with a distinct unmistakably Pagani personality. It was born to be a straightforward car set on driving pleasure. Several features make it a car that goes against the trend: the interior that rediscovers the charm of analog instrumentation, the possibility of seven-speed manual transmission driving, and the choice to prioritize lightness with a V12 engine built by AMG to Pagani’s specifications.

The Huayra R is a track car developed without rule constraints, with one exception: safety. Designed to deliver uncompromising performance, the naturally aspirated Pagani V12-R engine generates 1,000 kg (2,205 lbs) of downforce at 320 km/h (199 mph), with a sophisticated active aerodynamic system that makes the Hypercar a combination of the highest level of automotive engineering and the most refined aesthetic sensibility, the ultimate expression of Pagani Automobili’s philosophy. The unique design of the headers and four iconic exhaust tailpipes make the melody of the engine unmistakable, on par with a Formula 1 single-seater from the past. The Huayra R participates in the Arte in Pista program, a series of track experiences designed to allow Pagani Track Hypercar owners to fully experience their vehicles’ performance potential through a rich calendar of exclusive, non-competitive events held at the world’s most prestigious FIA tracks. The format offers a comprehensive experience that combines adrenaline-fueled sessions with moments of pure enjoyment, all supported by the Pagani team. This support includes a technical manager, track engineer, mechanical staff, physiotherapist, specialized nutritionist, and professional coaches, all contributing to enhancing the customers’ sports-driving skills.

The Huayra Roadster is a car in which every mechanical component is proudly displayed, celebrating the attention to every single detail. «Everything had to be unique, like a car carved from a block of Carrara marble». This is how Horacio Pagani describes this model, an open-air homage to the God of Wind. The entire project holds a special place in the hearts of the whole Pagani team, as it represents the first instance of a roadster being lighter than its coupé counterpart. An achievement that took nearly six years of development, thanks to a complete redesign of all components and the creation of new advanced composite materials, such as Carbo-Triax HP52 combined with Carbo-Titanium. These innovations enabled the team to reduce the car’s weight by 80 kg (176 lbs) compared to the coupé version, while increasing rigidity by 52 percent.

The Zonda Roadster originates as an evolution of the Zonda S, bringing innovations and improvements including a complete chassis redesign, driven by the need for a convertible cabin and increased torsional and flexural rigidity. Although marketed only in 2003, it had already passed all homologation tests in 1998. The structural part includes the dashboard and rear shelf, while the speakers are placed for the first time behind the headrests and integrated into the roll bars. These serve a triple purpose: support, by connecting the cabin to the rear engine compartment; structural, to provide rollover protection; and aesthetic, as distinctive features of the Roadster variant. The wheel size increases to 19 inches, harmonizing Pagani’s design with APP tech’s aerospace-derived full-forging technique in creating the new alloy wheels.

Both the Zonda Roadster and the Huayra Roadster are now sought-after collector’s pieces that have appreciated over time and can be found in the most exclusive collections around the globe.

On display: a Huayra R, sculpted in performance

This year, the event is dedicated to “British Racing Green”, the official international racing color of the United Kingdom. Pagani Automobili will pay homage to the timeless elegance of BRG by showcasing a Huayra R in the gardens of Villa del Grumello.

The Track Hypercar features a two-tone configuration in Verde Smeraldo and glossy Black Mamba, with a livery enhanced by stripes in Rosso Dubai, Bianco Malta, and Nero Galante. The door sports a racing circle in Bianco Malta displaying the number 10, while the wheels are gold-colored, and the anodizations are black. The rear active wings bear a custom engraving of the letter ‘R’.
